Guitars and Vocals
Ben is a keen guitarist/vocalist, and an avid Beach Boys fan. Having first heard the harmonies of "Surfer Girl" as a twelve year-old boy, he was immediately hooked on Brian Wilson's music and, over the years, has developed a true love for the Beach Boys legacy. Playing guitar at school enabled Ben to meet fellow Beach Boys Smile member, John Gooch. The keyboard expert encouraged Ben to perform in public, and played a significant role in his development as both a musician and songwriter. Having not had the classical training of his fellow band members, Ben feels privileged to be playing alongside such talent, and makes the most of his opportunity to delight and excite audiences nationwide!
Ben plays an american standard fender stratocaster, a yamaha APX700 12-string, and uses marshall amplification.
